Online Environmental Issue Presentation

The Online Environmental Issue Presentation discusses safety, health, legal, and ethical issues that teachers and students may encounter in the online environment. Best practices for both teachers and students are also presented in the PowerPoint which illustrates the ISTE Standard 5a.

Teacher Scenarios

The two teacher scenarios discussed in the paper present situations where teachers violated copyright laws in their lessons. The use of digital images and showing movies in class without violating copyright laws are discussed in the paper which illustrates the ISTE Standard. ISTE Standard 5b requires that educators model the ethical use of digital information and technology.

Email Communication Letter

The email letter to families and stakeholders in the community describing technology use for multicultural dimensions in the classroom describes the collaboration tools used in the learning environment as well as the support offered by both the district and school which support diversity and increase global awareness which demonstrates an application of the ISTE Standard 5c.
